I very rarely buy cd's because I am a cheapo, but I bought this on impulse after watching Owl Eyes cover of Pumped Up Kicks the other day.
I absolutely adore it! I'm not a big radio listener, but I love covers and reinterpretations of popular songs.
My favourite tracks are:
- Dance The Way I Feel - Gossling
- Sharp Dressed Man- The Beards
- Somebody That I Used To Know- Eskimo Joe
- Pumped Up Kicks- Owl Eyes
- Everybody Wants To Rule The World- Andy Bull
I especially love the amount of Australian artists being wonderful. Local music is often lost behind the hype surrounding the bigger international acts, but Australia has some extremely quality artists.
